Rhyme 2009-2010
Works by 11 contemporary artists are shown together with works from Ásmundur Sveinsson (1893-1982) an icelandic sculptor.
2 works from 2006, Sigurlaug and a Self-portrait, are paired together with with his sculpture on motherhood and shown in Asmundarsafn, a beautiful building by the artist, his former home and studio.
The painting on the left is by Kristín Gunnlaugsdóttir and the sculptures on pedestals by Ásmundur Sveinsson.
