The Secretary-bird 2004
The Secretary-bird is leggy and elegant and has a notable spring in its gait. It has a vivid orange color around the eyes and carries a
quill pen behind its ears. It stomps its prey to death with quick dance steps.
The bird is nomogamous but still retains a very strong individual identity.
This bird is mostly found in south Africa and in all major zoos. It can grow to be up to 3 meters tall.
