Hanna Kristin Birgisdottir shows her new work; Like a breath being compressed into a high pitched sound.

Something earth-moving is happening in Kling & Bang. Sequences VII’s Honorary Artists Carolee Schneemann presents four major works of her indomitable career. ‘More Wrong Things’, a 14-monitor installation envelops the central space and faces the audience with challenging fragments of our daily visual vocabulary from mass media. The photographs of her performance 'Eye Body’, shot by Erró, present ’transformative actions' under the special gaze of the Icelandic artist. The video of the performance ‘Up to and Including Her Limits’ transfers the raw power of her body and mind, almost ferociously. ‘Fuses’, a literal act of lovemaking and art, is screened in occasion of Schneemann’s talk, and an exclusive video interview by Hans-Ulrich Obrist and the artist is on show. In tandem with this seminal artist, Kling & Bang hosts a young Icelandic artist, Hanna Kristin Birgisdottir. For Sequences VII, she literally shakes the earth, performs and videos live, and ultimately dissolves what is produced. A powerful loop of action and reaction.
