Thursday, 30th of July, Örn Alexander Ámundason will premier his
performance Introduction to percussion. The performance starts at 20:30 and will only be performed once.

Örn Alexander Ámundason(b.1984) graduated with a Master in Fine Arts from the Malmö Art Academy in 2011. He believes that art is free to attempt any kind of translation, and that there is an intimate but ambiguous relation between the performative and the sculptural. He has repeatedly experimented with both these approaches, testing their boundaries and pushing them to intrude on each other’s territory. In the last few years Örn has exhibited in Lunds Konsthall, Galleri F15, Röda Sten Konsthall, Tidens Krav, Suðsuðvestur, Sogn- og Fjordane Kunstmuseum, The Armory Show and Brandenburgischer Kunstverein among others. He has performed in The Living Art Museum, Sequences 2011, ACTS International Festival for Performative Art, Samtalekøkken, Nikolaj Kunsthal, Bergen Kunsthall and Gothenburg International Biennal for Contemporary Art among others.
