Ansgard was born in Silesia Germany into a large family. She grew
up with love and respect for art and had dreams to go to art school,
but she became a paediatric nurse instead, in the wartime. She
lost everything at the end of the war as a refugee and her art
interests made her to move to Paris as a logical choice.
While working in Paris for 10 years after the war, she had great
opportunities to make progress about understanding modern art.
Only after living in Canada she decided to explore and develop
her own talent in taking regular painting classes.
She painted many years on her own and changed to digital art in
1993 . She developed her own web site and one can read more about
her selected works and her life as an artist since at.
