K.S.Subramanian

I am a senior journalist with a 24-year professional background. I have been interested in creative writing and writing poetry for a long time. My first volume of verse titled "Ragpickers" was published by the Writers Workshop, Calcutta, India in 1996. My poems have appeared in several anthologies, notably in "In Our Own Words"- Volume 3 brought out by Marlow Reeves of MWE, United States.

I was born on July 31, 1954 and am 47 years old. My poems have also appeared in newspapers and magazines. I have done my post- graduation in English literature and also in Defence Studies. I am planning to bring out my second volume of poems soon. I have written a play on Bhutto's assassination which is unpublished. I am working on a possible sequel to it.
