Nura Ahmad

Nura Ahmad, born on the 23rd June,1966 at K/Nasarawa, Kano State, Nigeria. I attended Kwalli Primary School(1973), Gumel Advanced Teachers' College(1989), and Bayero University Kano -Department of Botany-(1996). I'm published in Crammed Rooms and Empty Spaces an Anthology of short stories by the Association of Nigerian Authors (1999), From the Mountaintop, Under a Quick Silver Moon and The Silence Within - International Anthologies by the International Library of Poetry (1999, 2000, and 2001 respectively). Two of my poems 'Umbrella and It's me she Loves' are recorded on both CDs and audio cassettes Titled 'The Sound of Poetry' an anthology of audio poetry (2001). Awaiting publication in yet two other anthologies, Pregnant Skies-a poetry anthology of fifty Nigerian Poets - by the Association of Nigerian Authors Kano State Chapter, and The Greatest Is Love. I have experimented writing prose and plays and have a number of unpublished works like:
