Yvonne Eve Walus

Yvonne Eve Walus composed her first poem at the age of four and committed it to memory (she didn't have the skill to write it down). Twenty-odd years later, the only thing she can remember of that first work, is the title: "The Flower of White Dew". Yvonne is a mathematician who works as a software engineer and wishes she could make a living from writing full-time.

"For those who are interested in things geographical, Yvonne was born in Poland during the Communist era and now lives almost as far away as the Globe allows, in Auckland (New Zealand). The distance is not deliberate."
