Athena Bertolino

Athena Bertolino was raised in the wetlands of Michigan in the USA. Her early love for nature sent her to the University of Arizona to pursue a degree in Environmental Science. Here her love for diversity, people, and places, sprouted from great friendships and a relationship with someone who will always hold a special place in her heart. She graduted with honors, and moved on to work in Seattle, Washington. Her adventuous nature currently has her pursuing work in Costa Rica where she hopes to be until she attends graduate shcool in International Environmental Studies.

Her long term goals are to learn, love, and do what she can to bring peace and understanding to this chaotic world. And of course to continue to philosophize through writing.
