John Lowe

I'm a 21 college student at Mt. Hood Community College, here in Gresham OR. My major is history, and I intend to teach at the college level. I have been writing short stories for a long time, and only recently turned to poetry. This actual poem, "Calm Surrender", was my first attempt.
