Lisa Bourbeau

"This Day" was first published in "Out of the Pit," a small journal of art memorializing the event and passed out to rescue workers in NYC on September 30, 2001. It also appeared, in English and in translation, in the Turkish journal "Edebiyat Ve Elestiri," vol. 59, and in First Intensity 2002.

Lisa Bourbeau shares the side of a NH mountain with five greyhounds and a "hellhound," and as the pack's breadwinner, runs a contract cleaning firm that operates in three states. Her work has appeared in "Nedge," "Poet Lore," "First Intensity," and "Yankee."
