Zoë Anglesey

Zoë Anglesey is the editor of such anthologies as Ixok Amar Go: Central American Women's Poetry for Peace and Listen Up! Spoken Word Poetry. Forthcoming are Anglesey's translations of Death and Other Ephemeral Wrongs by Ana Istarú (Costa Rica), Poems from the Erotic Front by Ana María Rodas (Guatemala) and A Portrait of Zoe and Other Lies, stories by Salvador Elizondo (Mexico). Anglesey's own books of poems include Something More Than Force: Poems for Guatemala, Gazelle Legato (2003) and Valor and Trees (bilingual--Spanish and English, 2003). She was the recipient of the W.B. Yeats Second Prize in Poetry awarded by Paul Muldoon in 2001.
