Jon Proppe (b. 1962) studied philosophy at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and has since worked as an editor, writer and lecturer. He writes art criticism for the Reykjavik daily Morgunbladid and writes and lectures on art, philosophy and cultural studies. Jon Proppe has also worked as a curator and taken part in various projects in the field of art and culture.
