The uncharted zone, the state between dreaming and waking, the relationship between you and me, technology and the body - all this provides fertile soil for Anna Hallin’s work. Her materialis as varied as her subjects. A microcosm of the world appears
in her organic and subjective models of rooms in her series The Emotional Library Rooms; our imagination is set in motion in photographs of Icelandic environments, deserted houses and peculiar objects under the collective title Short Stories.

The connection between the body/nature and technology, our relationship with the world around us and each other; these appear organically and fluidly in her artworks Soft Plumbing.
In her works she charts the unknown, all that falls outside the accepted criteria of science and technology.
