Eirún Sigurðardóttir sýnir í Ásmundarssal Listasafns ASÍ 14. okt - 5. nóv.
Opnun 14. okt kl 15

The exhibition is titled Blood Hole. This hole, stronger than Thor the god of thunder and brighter than any fairy, is filled with heavenly softness and flexibility. It is our connection to the past, the cave where the sparks of life ignited.
Inside the white cave of the art gallery, the Urkraft is worshiped in unlimited ways. Wonderful soft balls breed balls, that breed balls for ever into the future, which no one can foresee, but one thing is certain: the past gives us a ride into the future. We are connectors or links between what was and what will be. To grasp the greater context it is not necessary to understand every detail. Sometimes it is enough to see and sense. Trust ones feelings and despite the emotional tangles, which can be difficult to detangle, the hair still keeps growing.
